Shrink film is a type of plastic film that shrinks and conforms tightly to the shape of the object when heated. It is commonly made from polyolefin materials such as polyethylene or polypropylene, which have excellent shrinking properties.
Shrink film is primarily used for packaging and protecting a wide range of products, including food, beverages, electronics, and industrial goods. It is often used to wrap and seal products in a tight, tamper-evident package that offers protection from moisture, dust, and other contaminants. Additionally, shrink film can be used for bundling and labeling products, providing a transparent and attractive finish.
Shrink film is applied using a heat source, such as a heat gun or a shrink tunnel. When exposed to heat, the film begins to shrink and conforms to the shape of the object, creating a tight and secure package. Shrink film can be applied manually or with automated machinery, depending on the volume and complexity of the packaging requirements.
